Article 28: Schooling

Children have the right to an education and the State must make primary education compulsory and free. It should encourage the development of different forms of secondary education, make them accessible to all and ensure that all children have access to the form of higher education best suited to their abilities. School discipline must not violate the child’s rights or dignity.
