Personal developmentContext
More than a decade of conflict in Syria has left many children and young people affected by displacement, trauma, interrupted education, weakened community networks, and limited access to safe recreational spaces. Sports infrastructure has deteriorated, and many experienced coaches have left the country. Returning families and vulnerable communities continue to face social, psychological, and economic challenges. Sport is recognized as an effective tool for social cohesion, psychosocial wellbeing, inclusion, and youth development.

- strengthen confidence, teamwork, life skills, and community participation;
- improve employability and digital skills among young adults;
- and build the capacity of local coaches and sports institutions.
