Our activities
By supporting socio-educational and sports projects, the foundation seeks to improve the living conditions to the most disadvantaged children, as well as their dignity and respect for their fundamental rights.
- 80 million people around the world have been forced to flee their homes.
- 45.7 million are internally displaced people and 26.3 million are refugees.
- 40% of the word’s displaces people are children. (UNHCR, June 2020)
Armed conflicts and extreme poverty
place women and children at risk. They can be targeted for violence and abuse and find it difficult to access critical resources such as water, food and shelter. Regular victims of discrimination and sexual and gender harassment, they often have limited or no access to education or medical care.
Wars and major crises have devastating effects
on children and leave significant physical and psychological traumas. Football allows us to reach to these children, to offer them a safe place to play, to heal their sufferings and to allow them to imagine a better future.
Together, we are building a more peaceful future for children who deserve protection.
