Bruxelles, Belgique: Joao Cabral Silva, entraîneur U17, remercie des jeunes migrants afghans qui se sont entraînés aujourd'hui. De nombreux migrants afghans ne connaissent que le cricket et sont initiés pour la première fois aux règles du football, le 17 janvier 2020. Pendant la saison sportive de septembre à mai, le Club de Kraainem accueille tous les après-midi des groupes de MENA de 6 à 10 garçons, âgés de 12 à 18 ans en provenance des Centres Fedasil de Woluwe Saint-Pierre et Rixensart. Ils sont amené à bord de la camionnette offerte au Club par la Fondation UEFA pour l'Enfance. Une fois arrivés au club, les jeunes réfugiés g se voient proposer, dans deux salles de classes aménagées par le Club, des tables de conversation d'une heure, données en français, néerlandais ou anglais par des enseignants bénévoles. Après les cours, les jeunes sont dispersés dans les différentes équipes du club, en fonction de leur âge. L’objectif est qu’un lien se crée ainsi entre jeunes réfugiés et jeunes du club afin de faciliter leur intégration au sein de celui-ci.
